Miami International Airport (MIA) - Guide to Miami (MIA) Airport

Miami has excellent public transport networks including decent bus services, efficient trains and an expansive monorail system. Combined with good city planning, the city's public transport makes getting around Miami easy and relatively inexpensive. Much of the city was also planned with pedestrians in mind, making exploring the city on foot a good way of getting around.

Miami's Metrorail System is a 21-mile elevated railway network that serves many areas including Brickwell avenue, Coconut Grove and Vizcaya. It's frequent and fast, making it a good way to get from one place to another.

Car hire is also a feasible way to get around Miami and the surrounding area, with elevated expressways and some very scenic roads offering stunning views of the coastline. Parking is not problematic in Miami, but traffic can be heavy at times.

Miami is served by the busy Miami International Airport, which is serviced by many airlines and offers access to destinations around the world. The airport has decent facilities including ATMs, bars, restaurants, car hire outlets and business facilities.
